With half of the families facing the difficult choice between buying diapers and paying for food, rent, and utilities, the financial burden can be overwhelming. Diaper expenses, which can average $80-$100 per month, significantly strain already tight budgets. The NOVA Diaper Bank, through its volunteers' dedicated efforts and donors' generosity, helps to ease this burden. Their commitment to providing essential resources makes a profound difference in the lives of many, ensuring that families do not have to choose between their babies' needs and other critical expenses. We are incredibly fortunate to have such a compassionate and effective organization in our community.

A Hand-Up NOVA has greatly expanded its impact to families with diaper needs in Northern Virginia. In the past two years, this nonprofit increased its diaper distribution program from 10,000 a month to 25,000. This was done with a handful of dedicated volunteers who spent countless hours soliciting support, collecting diapers, and distributing them out to the communities. I have seen how hard they work and the significant impact they have had on children's health in Northern Virginia
