I have been volunteering with DCP for a while now and I am still amazed at the impact that this program has on people. During my time with them I have witnessed many different people of many ages learn to overcome their struggles and also gain confidence in who they are. On top of that I've also learned how important it is to be passionate about what you do. Margarette is one of the most hard working people I know and seeing her passion and drive for helping her community has given me motivation to find a career I love and have a strong work ethic.

In my eyes, DCP goes above and beyond to help their community, which is why am I am proud to be apart of this center. Watching the time and effort that Margarette and Angel put into DCP and helping their students is really inspiring. I have seen them put in extra time when they don\u2019t have to work just to help educate parents because of the lack of education on dyslexia. They take extra time to even make their students comfortable enough to open up and it\u2019s truly beautiful to watch over time the bond they make and how their students are able to come out of this shell and have their confidence grow. Margarette has such a passion for what she does, finding something like that I think is rare.
