Review for The Gay Christian Network, Raleigh, NC, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Like Nikki, I am a straight ally and have been involved with GCN for about three years. The value I see for furthering my ministry is twofold. I have firsthand relationships with a group I am trying to fight for justice for and I have a place where I can point people to. Several times a week, I am able to say in person, e mail on the internet "do you know about GCN, got to ..." It is a wonderful social community and resource.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the lives of people who know they are acceptable to God.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

need to be gay and God didn't make me that way.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the relationships and the information I can access

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

wonderful examples of the Jesus I follow.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

saves more lives in the LGBT community be getting the message out that they were created by God an acceptable to Him

Ways to make it better...

no complaint here, none

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

appealing to a wide range of Christian backgrounds when so many are rejected by their own denomination. In the real world , denominations spar and somehow it is all managed on line a GCN. how do they do that?

One thing I'd also say is that...

Justin Lee is one of the finest people I have ever met.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2009

Role:  Volunteer & I do relationships and point.
