Review for American Wild Horse Conservation, Davis, CA, USA
For 10 or more years, as a grassroots taxpayer who loves our American wild horses and burros and wants them to remain on our federal Western lands, I have appreciated the diligence and acuity of American Wild Horse Preservation Campaign. They have filed suits, held rallies, started letter-writing campaigns, encouraged our field knowledge through their on-site inspections of round-ups by the BLM, hired lobbyists, and encouraged our individual efforts at lobbying Congress and State legislators. They have developed a staff profile including a lawyer and other information and lobbying specialists to assist our joint efforts to carryout action plans. I see them as very detail-oriented, careful in the actions they take, and as leaders in an effort to work not only with we grassroots activists, but also other citizen-based groups to fulfill a unified effort toward problem-solving. They are professionals as they approach the issues of humane management of the mustangs and burros and through their careful work supported by caring American taxpayers and allied lobbying groups, we are making progress on the issue. This is the fact that makes the difference; American Wild Horse Preservation Campaign is building a solid reputation for consistent and solid action on informing decisionmakers of alternative strategies to provide America's wild horses and burros with humane protection of their lifeway, which is our highest priority and desired fulfillment of existing law.
Review for Front Range Equine Rescue, Ocala, FL, USA
Front Range Equine Rescue is an organization that gives its all to working for the betterment of mustangs and burros on our Federal lands and our domestic horses. They rescue many animals and see them through when they are sick; they work to influence government decisionmakers to improve the existing policies for managing the mustangs and burros, and because of their excellent reputation, their concerns are listened to. They are a leader. I thank them for their work and the concerns they bring to the public decision-making process.
