A few years ago I saw a reunion story between a rescued wild mustang names Goliath and his lead mare Red Lady. From this beautiful story I learned about the plight of our American Wild Mustangs. I have always loved horses from afar but I had no idea that our government was destroying our herds for the profit of big ranchers. Skydog Sanctuary has become my lifeline to the mustang world but it has also become a lifeline to some of these rounded up mustangs. They have even begun to partner with other mustang sanctuaries in order to rescue even more. Their mission is a noble one.
