Review for United Animal Friends Inc, Prescott, AZ, USA
I started out as a dog walker, and after one day in I was asked to foster a special needs dog. That beautiful differently-abled dog started me on a wonderful journey with UAF, from fostering more dogs to adoption events, fund raisers, volunteer picnics and so much more. UAF offers so much to this community through spay and neuter clinics to pet food for people who are struggling financially. The animals UAF takes in and finds loving homes for have been given a second chance. The dedication from every person associated with UAF goes above and beyond, as each person shares a common goal in ensuring less homeless, abandoned and abused animals.
Review for United Animal Friends Inc, Prescott, AZ, USA
I began volunteering as a dogwalker for UAF in Feb of 2021 and then began fostering. The tireless work that everyone at UAF puts in is all for the benefit and welfare of the animals. The screening process to volunteer and to adopt is stringent ensuring that the animals get the best possible care and furever homes. I am so impressed with everyone and we are a family with the same goals of getting homes for these wonderful fur babies, food and supplies for low income and at risk pet owners, training, and so many more services for the community. I am proud to be associated with UAF and they deserve to be recognized for all of the wonderful work they lovingly do!
Review for Skydog Sanctuary , Malibu, CA, USA
The daunting task of rescuing mustangs and donkeys that keep flowing into the BLM prison system is what Skydog has taken on and with strong determination and grace. They advocate fiercely for these mistreated beautiful animals and provide sanctuary that is the closest to the wild home they were kidnapped from. I love Skydog and the work they are doing on behalf of the former wild mustangs and burros is tireless. They are number one in my estimation!
