Review for Buddy Cruise Inc, Lithia, FL, USA
As a co-founder and executive director of a regional support group representing individuals living with Down syndrome, I have to say that this group is one of the finest in advocating for individuals living with Down syndrome. I have been on two Buddy Cruises and will be making my third cruise in October, this time as a presenter and ambassador.
For many in the Down syndrome community, this event is a once in a lifetime opportunity and they are treated with a very classy and most informative venue. From seminars and meetings to romps on the beaches, each person has time to step away from the everyday life and into something magical. An experience where they not only will learn so much, but a week to meet and make new friends, hear new ideas, celebrate accomplishments and just simply have fun doing it.
I would strongly recommend the Buddy Cruise to anyone, especially those affected by Down syndrome in some fashion, to come aboard and see firsthand what all of the excitement is all about. You will disembark with a lifetime of memories to share for years to come.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
By attending two Buddy Cruises already, I have forged great friendships that help make me be a better leader in the Down syndrome community. As I lead my regional Ds support group, I look back to my experiences on the Buddy Cruise and other conventions on Ds for ideas.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
continue what they are doing. Right now, this event is the nation's best kept secret for three years now. We need to help get the word out that this is the thing to do. Once a person goes, it is over - they will continue to go year after year.
