It has been an honor serving the mission of Mercy Project for the last 10 years. It stands out from a lot of anti-trafficking non-profits because the staff are local Ghanaians, entrenched in the lives of the fishing communities that we are partner with. Because of that, we are able to keep a close relationship with the social workers, school teachers and leaders in the community to make sure that the kids are not re-trafficked. The proven process and success of freeing hundreds of Ghanaian children from slavery shows that Mercy Project is an incredible organization.
