When I retired 8 years ago I wanted not just a hobby but an activity that would use my talents to help others. When I read the Knots of Love founder's story, I knew this was the organization for me. I had learned how to crochet from my grandmother as a child and now when I make my hats I feel a wonderful connection to her as well as knowing I am warming someone's head and heart. I feel very blessed to be a part of this very wonderful and worthwhile organization.
