I have arthritis in my hands, and I am a musician. In order to keep my fingers moving in MANY motions, other than just on the computer and at the harp, I crochet every evening while watching TV. I have made enough crochet items for myself and my friends, so now I am crocheting chemo caps to donate to Knots of Love. This was inspired by two close friends who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy. In my first batch, I made 27 crochet chemo caps. When I have another batch ready, I will send them along. It's a win-win situation; the crocheting keeps my fingers nimble and the caps help women suffering from hair loss due to cancer treatment.
