I learned about this rescue about 4 years ago. The couple, Brenda and Cecil, care for up to 30 horses that came to the rescue from kill lots, through local animal abuse cases, or owners abandoning their horses due to medical costs. Brenda and Cecil do everything nearly by themselves, and always put the horses first. These horses cost a lot and get the best food, shelter and medical treatments. This is such a worthy nonprofit!
