My husband and I were so lucky to visit FSFS recently. When we drove onto the property we were greeted with a beautiful view, just spectacular. We were greeted by Wilbur and Rosie when I opened the car door and quickly met the rest of the sweet dogs. Even Annabelle was a friend by the end of our visit. We joined Kay, who obviously loves and cares for all the animals, on morning rounds. All the animal areas, barn and shelters were well kept and clean. We enjoyed seeing all the animals being fed and going through their morning routines. Willy was very sweet, rooting our shoes in greeting at breakfast time. Melvin enjoyed prolonged petting while Kay tended to other animals. When we left, Renny watched and made sure we were safe. This farm sanctuary is incredible, as are its owners.
