Hi there! My husband and I adopted Mr. Hops (renamed Koji) from Bunny Buddies in July and the process and experience were pleasant and informative. Prior to this adoption we had no knowledge or experience owning a bunny. Fortunately we had someone from Bunny Buddies who answered all of our questions about rabbit care and ownership. That eased our apprehension and solidified that we wanted to give adoption a try. I'm happy to say that everything is going well :) Koji has settled into his new home and loves being able to free roam the house. He's an affectionate bunny who loves to follow us to the kitchen for snacks haha. I'm appreciative to Bunny Buddies including Michael O and his wife for how well they've taken care of Koji prior to our adopting him. Koji's vet confirmed how healthy he is and commented that he is the perfect weight for his breed of bunny
(Koji is a 5 year old Chinchilla Rabbit weighing in at 10 pounds).
I'd highly recommend Bunny Buddies to anyone seeking to foster or adopt a bunny. The folks who volunteer to care for these delicate creatures are very caring and nurturing and do their best to ensure these bunnies go to great homes.
