Gardners House is a wonderful organization that helps persons with any type of cancer meet their basic needs. In addition, the organization provides a support group on Zoom where participants share, educate and offer insights on navigating a world where the cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming.

Gardner’s House Inc has been instrumental in assisting those persons affected by cancer meet their basic needs. There are organizations that help with specific cancers only, but Gardner’s House assists those afflicted by ALL cancers and that sets them apart.
In addition, Gardner’s House help with providing a non-judgmental platform where all survivors can come together to speak about issues that affect them and encourage and uplift each other. This is a vital part of healing and just knowing that the support is available is invaluable.

I am encouraged by this group of men and women and the strong woman who had the vision to start the organization, Maggie Gardner.

I attended the Gardner’s House Pretty In Pink Ball in 2015 in support of my aunt who was fighting cancer. She enjoyed herself and was very touched by the recognition and support she received from fellow fighters of the disease.
My aunt died in May 2016, and in February 2017 I received the diagnosis that I had Multiple Myeloma, early stages. I was devastated but had to continue on. Gardner’s House Cancer Support Group had been instrumental in helping me cope. We are non-judgemental, offer advise and generally offer support regardless of the type of cancer or where a person is in the it journey. When I could not, Gardner’s House also assisted me with some bills. I am grateful for the vision that Ms. Gardner had to create this organization and pray that others will join to offer and receive support fighting this terrible disease.

I was diagnosed with Multiple myeloma in 2016. I had never heard of this disease and wanted to know how it would affect my life. Gardner House has a support group for cancer survivors and those currently living with cancer. We share our fears, worries and wins. We have lots of laughter and more that a few tears. We say what works for us and get suggestions on what might work better. More than everything, the group provides a safe place to be ourselves and express our feelings as we know that others have been through the similar situations.
We know, that we are not alone, and that if we need anything, we can reach out to Gardner's House and assistance would be provided. When friends or family is not available, Gardner's House is!
