My husband and I have known Oakseed nearly 30 years, and its leaders have earned our utmost respect. I am now privileged to serve on its Board of Directors, where seeing the inside workings of the ministry has only increased that regard. I see Oakseed Ministries International as the epitome of what a helping organization should be. Its mission is to assist the neediest and most vulnerable of the world’s urban poor, especially children. It does this, not by creating dependency, but by coming alongside indigenous ministries to encourage, train, pray for, and give financial support. Oakseed keeps its own expenses remarkably low through excellent management and hard work. An exemplary 85% of donations go to their partner ministries (and 100% of the Bazaar catalog gifts!). Oversight of partner ministries is personal, caring, regular and consistent. Oakseed’s integrity and financial responsibility have earned the highest seals from charity assessment groups. For all these reasons, I recommend Oakseed without reservation. Its work is being used to change lives.
