Waggytail is a really great rescue that focuses on saving small dogs and finding them homes in the NYC area.
They’ve been great to work with as a foster volunteer and have become more organized in recent years. I love that I have a buddy to text if I have a question about my foster pup, and I appreciated the donated supplies that helped me start my foster journey.

Foster dogs helped me feel confident starting my foster journey! I attended a live info session (pre-covid) and it was so helpful to ask questions and meet other foster volunteers. Their fb group is an amazing resource for anyone caring for a rescue. The first night my foster dog wouldn’t stop howling. I posted on the forum around 10pm, and within minutes I had suggestions, one of which worked! Thanks for helping this first time foster mom feel confident, Foster Dogs!
