We adopted our gorgeous boy Dexter from Husky Haven in November 2019. At the time that we were first interested in him he had received surgery on his rear leg as he came into the rescue following a botched surgery by the previous owner's vet. Despite great surgical and therapy care provided by Husky Haven, Dexter needed to have his leg amputated shortly after adopted him. Husky Haven covered all of the medical costs for Dexter and we are so grateful that they allowed us to adopt this amazing boy. We are a husky family and will absolutely be adopting from them again in the future (we will always have 2 huskies....). They really care and go above and beyond for the huskies in their care.
