I have been following GSE since before Maia and Guida even arrived there. I got totally hooked on them, especially after watching the arrival of Maia and Guida. It was so emotional and watching Kat and Scott work with the elephants and change their lives by giving them sanctuary is the most heartwarming and inspiring thing I have ever experienced. Reading their post everyday is what I look most forward to. The world really gets me down and frustrated and Kat, Scott, the beautiful elephants and the entire team that works with them is the one thing that gives me hope, makes me smile, and has made me cry when we have lost one of our beautiful girls. I donate to them what I can and always wish it could be more. My heart aches for all mistreated animals and the sanctuary is a ray of hope at least for elephants. I hope they can continue making a difference for many, many years to come. The world needs more people like Kat and Scott!
