GSE has founded in Brazil, the only Elephant Sanctuary in South America. It is also the only sanctuary in South America accredited by the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries. They are rescuing and rehabilitating captive elephants after decades of living in circuses and zoos, in Argentina and Brazil.
GSE gives them the opportunity to live free and in the company of other elephants in a natural paradise, healing physically, mentally and emotionally.
Scott and Kat Blais have decades of rescue experience. Their followers observe the love and respect they bring to the elephants.
GSE publishes daily information about each of the residents.
Transparency, respect and professionalism are what characterize the GSE.
