Along the way has been a great support system to me and my family. I would not just call them an organization they are family. They are there whenever I would need them for encouragement and motivation , to talk too, and provide community and personal resources. Along the way has provide services to myself that goes beyond the basics of providing childcare services. Our family has been gifted with gift cards for food, gas, and household items. Personalized gift baskets for the holidays are always a nice surprise to let us know we were not forgotten. For someone in my situation a single mother of 3 children and not having a family support system, Along the way was been just that. I have been with them for 5+ yrs now and during this time they have seen the good, bad, and ugly. But with out them I would not have grown into a much better mother and woman. Today I can be proud of the person I have become, being able to complete school and gaining a profession that allows me to build stability for my family and Along the Way was a big part of that. The care givers are kind and dependable and my children look forward to them coming. The care givers provide activities and games to occupy they time together. It’s definitely a piece of mind when you can have honest and caring people come into your home and care for my love ones. Along the Way continues to work hard to make sure they remain available to us mothers and hopefully to many other mothers they possible can help. The name itself says it all I am not alone they are along the way with me and I greatly appreciate it.
