Donated after hearing some stories and family friends receiving the aid they needed! 10/10

My family had the pleasure of attending a recent event benefiting Along the Way, Inc. The organization and the wonderful, dedicated people who work there clearly poured their hearts into raising awareness and funds for recipients. It’s a terrific organization that we will continue to proudly support.

I attended the bingo and it was organized wonderfully. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The event was the perfect length and you could tell that the staff cared about the cause. The way they included people’s stories between the bingo rounds was a great way to bring more attention to the cause.

Along the Way has been a lifesaver for Kaya and her children!! Their childcare is topnotch, and communication is outstanding. Recently Kaya was given a car through this agency, and now she is beginning to become totally independent. Daisiá, her caseworker, is such an encouragement and motivator for her as she works toward her goals. Thank you for being there!

Everything they do and stand for is to help single mothers and their children. Because of them I am able to work! Go to appts, learn to drive. Coming out of a domestic violence situation I had nothing until they came along and they said “you are not alone” and have been there ever since, the ceo and director always checks up on my children and I!

I was able to work weekends when my sons brain cancer came back because of along the way! They should be world wide! I can’t wait to see them world wide!! I love you along the way, all of you.

I have happily donated to Along the Way, an organization that helps provide single-mom families with various services, for years. The most impressive thing about this organization is how it keeps diving deeper. From the beginning, their mission to help single mothers create a realistic strategy to change their circumstances was impactful. They provide single moms with stable and safe childcare so the mother can go to school or earn an income to support her family without the worry that doing so will negatively impact her children. These moms face making a terrible decision: "Do I leave to provide my children with the necessities to thrive, food, shelter, and clothes, or do I stay to make sure they are safe and not harmed by my absence?". Some of these moms come from a background that did not provide them with the blueprint to be self-sustaining or the ability to navigate the complexity of parenthood. Along the Way also provides training for these parents that teaches them to raise their children in a way that will instill emotional intelligence and, without a doubt, help break generational trauma patterns. They also help these moms find jobs that suit them and set them up for success. They walk alongside them, helping them navigate whatever comes their way. They provide a holistic approach to a cyclic issue. This type of issue, the kind that seems so multi-faceted that it hurts your head to think about, they are tackling it with grace and vigor. They have an in-depth, strategic, and futuristic outlook. I know in my heart that Along the Way will continue to go as far as funding allows them, and I am happy to support them in any way that I can.

Along The Way is an incredible nonprofit organization that I’m proud to say I donate to and support. It has helped so many single moms and their children. It helps provide safe child care in their home, so a mother can go to work or school to help better their lives. Along The Way does so much more than provide child care. It gives single mothers a support system and sense of community. I have personally attended several of their events and fundraisers which were all wonderful, but the best part of the event was meeting and talking to the single mothers and their children that were there. They shared how much Along The Way helped them and changed their lives. I heard stories of how they were able to go back to school and get a profession or how they were able to go back to work which allowed them to give their children a stable and safe home environment. The staff showed so much compassion for these mothers. It was truly remarkable!

I'm proud to support Along The Way financially and as a volunteer when time allows. I have watched this organization grow from the beginning. The way they embrace the mission to meet women exactly where they are and respond to their needs with a multifaceted approach is a game changer. This is not just about childcare. It's about giving people a chance to change their lives and break their own cycle of poverty. Along The Way is embodying the concept of giving a hand up so that more women are empowered to achieve financial stability.

The Heart of this mission is the heart of God, to rescue women out of the cycle of poverty and to care for the children of a single parent. We are honored to be able to support this organization in the hope that more single moms can break free of destructive and unhealthy patterns in their lives.

I am from Souderton where Along the Way is based. They have served a great roll in our community, and have helped people I know personally. It is great to see the change in someone who was lifted out of poverty and is now a contributing member of the community.

Along the way is such a blessing to myself and my kids. As a single mom who works nights, it’s nearly impossible to find a sitter. This organization has stepped in and matched me and my family with sitters who fit exactly what we need. Not only am I able to focus on work to provide for my family, my children love their caretakers and look forward to spending time with them. We’re very thankful we found this organization.

The vision and mission of Along the Way is critical to the well-being of mothers, fathers, families, communities, and therefore society. When those who are struggling to have consistent and supportive childcare come into contact with staff from Along the Way, it is an uplifting and empowering experience. This is more than a mission...this is a movement!

I am a current Master of Social Work candidate and intern at Along the Way and I am incredibly grateful to be a small part of such an amazing organization! Along the Way utilizes a strengths based approach for everyone who comes in contact with them. From the moms who receive care, to the child care workers, to the interns, the staff, and the broader community, they are empowering, affirming, and uplifting. I am so grateful for the experience I'm having and all that I am learning as being a part of this team. I can't wait to see where this organization can go in the future and how far their mission of empowering moms can spread.

Along The Way has been a blessing. Being
a part of the program has given me the opportunity to work full-time and provide for my son.

As a single mom myself for many years; I was inclined to donate to Along the Way, Mothers Day project, that my friend’s son was completing for a community service project. Mother’s need to have a support system where they feel their children are safe so they can better themselves and provide for their children. This organization allows for mothers to do that! Thank you for your support and hard work in creating this support for mother’s who need it!

As a board member and spouse of a founding member, I have been with Along the Way since the beginning, and have had the honor and privilege of seeing this community take shape and grow. The relationships that form between families and caregivers and everyone involved are so beautiful. ATW is so much more than "just babysitting"! I am constantly impressed by the people I meet that are and want to be involved, from donors and volunteers, to interns and the families themselves. We were all kids, and we all have mothers, and caring for them is and should be a very important part of our society. I personally grew up with only a single mom, and there were times when despite working a second job in addition to her full time job, we couldn't make ends meet. Short on bills and not being able to get the car fixed. I also spent plenty of time in daycare or with babysitters. We could have benefited greatly from an organization like ATW. Its because of this life experience that I know the importance of what we are doing, and will continue to be a part of it as long as we can. Come join us!! :D

It is a honor to serve on the Along the Way board for a few years now! I believe in the mission and have witnessed countless situations where ATW has changed women’s lives! I love the way they love people and really make a difference in so many women and children’s lives!!

Being raised by a single mom, I find this organization inspiring! Raising children takes a village and unfortunately not everyone has a village around them. Along the Way supports single moms to ensure they have safe child care allowing them to pursue their careers and education. We were inspired to support this organization and my son made Mother’s Day gift packages as a community service project. What a wonderful way to recognize strong women!! Thank you Along the Way for creating awareness and support for single moms!!

I have had the privilege of being an intern for Along the Way this past summer, and the team behind this organization is like no other. Every volunteer and staff member cares deeply for the mission and goes above and beyond to plan events, fundraise and support those who we are serving. I have learned so much since working for Along the Way, and am so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this community.

Along the Way has been such a great blessing to me and my family. Being a first time mom I didn’t know what I was in store for. I was concerned on how I would maintain a job outside of daycare hours. Having this service is so important for the community. The love that this organization pour into their community is so refreshing and I’m so grateful to be apart of something so life changing. Thank you for all you do!! My family and I will never forget the help we receive daily! I cannot wait to be able to give back what was giving to me!

This nonprofit has so much heart. ATW does everything in their power to help the community. They are constantly planning events for the community, single mothers, and families. They truly care for their clients, and do everything they can to raise more money, to be able to provide more childcare. I really enjoy volunteering with Along The Way, and look forward to helping more and more single moms!

I interned with Along The Way for my MSW program and let me just say, there are not enough words to describe this wonderful and impactful nonprofit organization. I wish there were more organizations like Along The Way; providing free in-home childcare for single mothers. Not only do they do whatever it is they can to provide for single mother families, they work with the community surrounding them as well. Along The Way strives to make our smaller communities stronger and they do this by working with individuals AND families, not just one or the other! This organization goes above and beyond to make sure these single mother families are employed, gain financial independence, have stability for themselves and their family, and access to resources that are helpful to the family, the parent, and/or the child(ren). If you or any single mother you know is looking for an organization to help with childcare while working off-hour jobs, training, or going to school, I can guarantee that Along The Way will help in every possible way they can!

Along the way has been a great support system to me and my family. I would not just call them an organization they are family. They are there whenever I would need them for encouragement and motivation , to talk too, and provide community and personal resources. Along the way has provide services to myself that goes beyond the basics of providing childcare services. Our family has been gifted with gift cards for food, gas, and household items. Personalized gift baskets for the holidays are always a nice surprise to let us know we were not forgotten. For someone in my situation a single mother of 3 children and not having a family support system, Along the way was been just that. I have been with them for 5+ yrs now and during this time they have seen the good, bad, and ugly. But with out them I would not have grown into a much better mother and woman. Today I can be proud of the person I have become, being able to complete school and gaining a profession that allows me to build stability for my family and Along the Way was a big part of that. The care givers are kind and dependable and my children look forward to them coming. The care givers provide activities and games to occupy they time together. It’s definitely a piece of mind when you can have honest and caring people come into your home and care for my love ones. Along the Way continues to work hard to make sure they remain available to us mothers and hopefully to many other mothers they possible can help. The name itself says it all I am not alone they are along the way with me and I greatly appreciate it.

I interned at Along the Way while pursuing my MSW and loved it so much I decided to stay on as a volunteer! This organization provides a much needed service to an often overlooked population. I am so proud to be apart of such a dedicated and passionate team of individuals that are working to better the lives of single moms and their families in the community. Without Along the Way, these moms would be left scrambling for childcare and would have to put their own career/education on the back burner. Unfortunately, this selfless act only contributes to the cycle of poverty. This organization is here for these moms when no one else is. It’s an honor to be apart of this organization and I am excited to witness its continued growth!
