Review for Tails Of Joy, Studio City, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Tails of Joy has helped us at the Baja Animal Sanctuary through the years whenever we've needed it! We never had to ask twice! Elayne is one of the best things to ever happen to rescue!

I'm am the Program Director for the Baja Animal Sanctuary and Tails of Joy has been there for us every single time we needed help. I see all the other groups they help and am amazed at how much they give. The world is a better place with Tails of Joy in it!!!

I have been a volunteer with BAS for 18 years and I challenge you to find a better rescue group. Our dogs are kept in huge corrals so they are social. The have age appropriate vaccines, are sterilized, de-wormed and flea/tick treated. Applicants are vetted thoroughly before they are allowed to adopt. There is a 2 week foster period to ensure that the dog and the family are a good match. If all goes well we do a home visit and finalize the adoption.

I have been involved with BAS for 18 years. As Program Director I know how much care goes into the well-being of the animals in our facility. The adoption process is simple but strict. After an application is approved the family meets the dog/cat and is then interviewed by one of our seasoned volunteers. If all goes well, they get to take the dog/cat home. There is a 2 week foster period to assure that the pet is a good match. A home visit is done and if it's a good match the adoption is finalized. If it's not a good match, we take the dog/cat back and the adoption fee is refunded.
