Review for LQA Performing Arts Center, Bakersfield, CA, USA
LQ Performing Art Center has help children not only learn how to dance , act, and sing but create a love for the arts that I have never seen before. The children are dedicated and love what they are able to achieve. The director, Laquette Milner, gives all of her time, patience and love to each child. She goes far beyond any person to help and teach her students how to express themselves through their dance and shows them everyday that hard work produces results. Many hours have gone into creating successful productions including the most recent one, The Hip Hop Wizzard of OZ. I has personally been a pleasure working back stage at many productions and even having a small part in help create pure genius!

I have seen the results by the outcome of the children that have been involved with LQ from the being. These children started when they were nine or ten years old, now they are graduates from high school and being a part of LQ has help them stay away from negative environments. This experience has also taught them a skill that many of them have continued and have very promising careers
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
The only change would be to bring more help in so they can continue helping even more children and can reach out to a wider range.
