Spay Panama has worked with me to make possible a Spay Clinic in the remote village of Chica in Panama. Chica is a tiny mountain village of about 1200 people and about 500 homes who's primary source of income is selling plants and flowers to people who come up from the city to escape the heat. It is a nice place with warm friendly people and lots of dogs and cats. The dogs and cats are mostly well cared for and run free throughout the village. The result of that is lots of puppies and kitties. Because of how remote the village is, and because of the low income, it is not possible for the villagers to afford transporting their pets to a vet in the low land. Enter Spay Panama. In a one day Clinic we expect to Spay or neuter about 150 dogs and about 30 cats.
