Review for Artists' Guild of Columbia County, Evans, GA, USA

I joined the Guild 4 years ago. Prior to that I typically worked independantly. It has been a pleasure to be a part of this group. The artists are such and inviting group who are always willing to help each other and pitch in to make every event we participate in a success. It has been so exciting to be a part of the growth of this organization and see the impact we have been able to have on the arts in our community. We've worked hard to create quality events that expose the community to art, and I am looking forward to some of the new workshops and groups that are developing to provide opportunitites for artists to come together and share art together and expand their understanding not only of art, but also the business of art.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the many opportunities it has provided me to show and sell my artwork. I have also benefited from many of the guest speakers we've had and enjoyed the demonstrations by artists who work in mediums of never tried before. I also feel like many of the members of this organization have become like family - I am very proud to call them my friends

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

continue to listent o the great ideas the members and community have - that's who we are serving after all.

Role:  Board Member & i am the president of the AGCC, but I consider my role one of someone who serves the Guild body. I try to take the ideas that our members come up with and put them into action. As such, I have played a large role in organizing Art after Dark and many of t.
