I am Ivhobe Omoayena. My very first encounter with Girl's Education Mission International was through an internship programme with them, which lasted for a period of 3 months.

During those 3 months of interning with GEM, I was made aware of their mandate to cater to the needs of girls, give them a firm standing in the society and also uphold their Human Rights. It was a humbling and very educative experience for me. Their mission and vision perfectly aligned with the way the ran their operations.

As a volunteer with GEM now, I couldn't have started my volunteer career with any less an inspiring platform than this. Their language of speaking hope into the lives of Girls is one that is on the same trajectory as mine. Daily through their platform, I and many others, are made aware that "I AM POSSIBLE"!
