My husband and I began our search for a dog two years ago. We believe in adoption and began looking for the perfect pup. It wasn't easy! I filled out several applications and never heard back from anyone. When we found Sansa online, she just spoke to us. I applied to Friends With Four Paws and finally found an agency who was willing to respond! We went to meet Sansa at her foster parents' home and they were absolutely gracious, allowing us to come inside. We had a long talk with them as Sansa was extremely skittish and we heard more of her story. When we decided to go ahead with the adoption, they even brought her to us since, at the time, we were living in NYC and it was difficult to find a car service or taxi that would allow us to bring a dog. Sansa was up to date on all of her shots, had been spayed and micro-chipped, and we were given her complete vet and transport records. This organization is very thorough, called our references, and were caring and wonderful people to work with. I can't recommend them enough!
