Carlsbad Schools are so thankful for the Carlsbad Educational Foundation!  We are so fortunate to have their support in so many ways, but I am especially for the impact they have on our students' passion for science.  CEF is the reason my students love coming to science class.  They have enabled us to do so many hands-on activities and with the variety of supplies, my students can explore their own scientific ideas.  CEF provides all of the materials for our students to be able to do hands-on labs.  Because of CEF, my students are dissecting squid tomorrow and last class they engineered parachutes using materials from CEF.  Next week we are creating light up cards with paper circuits, and motorized bots the week after.  Students who are learning from home have received science packets of lab materials so that they can engage in the lab activities as well.  Students are getting a genuine experience of science by designing unique controlled experiments of their own, and are learning critical science skills while being creative and enjoying science class, all thanks to the materials provided by CEF.
