Review for Grist Magazine, Inc., Seattle, WA, USA
I love grist's fun and funny take on an issue that is normally dour and gloomy. They are bright, analytical, and captivating folks. I especially LOVED the GINK series. It asked the questions most enviros shy away from.
I only wish they considered land and wildlife conservation a higher priority in their reporting.

Review for National Wildlife Federation, Reston, VA, USA
They are such positive, effective stewards for our national wildlife! Their online presence is amazing, and they did a great job in the Gulf.

I' love to have easier access to more detailed info on what they "do" on their materials. The education stuff is easy to find, but I like nitty gritty details and metrics before I donate :)
Review for Center for Biological Diversity Inc, Tucson, AZ, USA
They are the fiestiest enviro group around; going to battle for the critters! They are highly successful at getting actions taken by their supporters and cover the whole country.

I sometimes worry they milk the "disaster" frame too much, especially for fundraising, when it really isn't as dire as they portray it in an appeal. They might not be able to pull it off when they really need it or have it start to sound disingenuous, but I know their work is vital and sometimes screaming rom the mountaintops is spot on. It's a fine line.
