After funding a kitchen/cafeteria, two team members from eMite flew to Magooli Village to meet our executive director, Joseph, as well as our cooks, school staff, and 160 orphaned children who are benefitting from the kitchen. Our children no longer have to worry about weather among other elements and factors impacting their school lunches, which is sometimes the only meal they will receive that day due to hardships they face at home. We thank eMite and their donor base for enabling us to construct a kitchen and cafeteria, as well as purchase working stoves. This is a historical, life changing event for the children and entire community that Child Crisis Center Uganda serves, and we could not be happier or more thankful for eMite’s involvement.
