Our garden is located at a Community Health Center and provides patients with a place to connect with nature, good food, and each other. The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the need for good food and made the outdoor classroom even more relevant since it enables us to ensure social distancing. The SeedMoney campaign helped us engage partners to help us achieve this mission during a time when it's been difficult to stay connected. We conducted another crowdsource fundraiser for our garden last year that included multiple fees and required us to meet our goal or lose all committed funding. SeedMoney was the opposite: all funds committed were ours to keep regardless of whether we met our goal, there were helpful fundraising resources offered throughout (thanks for sharing images!), and we qualified for a grant!
