Review for ORAM Organization for Refuge Asylum & Migration, Minneapolis, MN, USA

Rating: 5 stars   Featured Review

ORAM is truly an amazing organization, helping gay, lesbian and transgender refugees worldwide. ORAM has managed to figure out what the real obstacles are to helping these folks, and then, developed programs to transform their lives. ORAM conducts training of refugee workers all over the world, develops advocacy campaigns to help them, and assists individuals seeking refugee protection. Our brothers and sisters are suffering in a great many countries, and ORAM is working diligently to help them - all on a minimal budget that is efficiently managed and a small group of dedicated staff.

Review for Jewish Film Institute, San Francisco, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The SF Jewish Film Festival is a stellar organization -- celebrating 30 years of presenting creative, edgy, stimulating film and discussions throughout the SF Bay Area. I've been a member of the audience for nearly 30 years, and a donor for more than 10 years, and now a board member for 4 years, and I'm continually impressed with the quality of its presentations.

Review for Our Family Coalition, San Francisco, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

This is a great group. It combines social activity for LBGT parents and their families with activism and education on social and legal issues that affect alternative families. It is well run, well organized, utilizes a dynamic group of volunteers. Good for its members, and good for the larger community!
