I cannot say enough about the kindness, consideration, professionalism, compassion and dedication of the adoption staff and foster caretakers at OPH. They were so careful and considerate in determining what puppy would meet our needs and would be most happy in our care. They matched us with our perfect puppy!
We are an older couple with young grandchildren and other children that visit often. We also have lots of family and friends with dogs. It was very important to us that we have a puppy that would be gentle, affectionate and get along with other dogs. Lena is sweet and calm, playful and smart.
It is clear to us that the foster caretaker loved and cared for Lena as though she was a puppy she would keep forever. Lena was already well on her way to being house trained. She already knew "sit" and is very alert and attentive to commands (although she doesn't always listen (she is a puppy after all!) The love and security she received prepared her very well for training and learning. She adjusted quickly and easily to a new home and environment.
We could not have asked for a better adoption experience!
