When I first heard of Herobox I thought it was a great idea; but looking at how they use my money I've had to change my mind. I now have over 2 lbs of mail saved over the past 4 months, from them asking for donations, but always using OVERSIZED envelopes, and containing semi-heavy material to be signed and mailed back. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!!! Looking at their rating on Charity Navigator it shows they spend too much on advertising and not enough on the troops themselves. I want my donation to go to our brave women and men, and not for solicitation. Sorry to have to write this, but sending notices in the return envelopes has not had any effect. STOP with the mailings, and get down to what you propose to do: Help Our Troops.
