Review for Good Days, Frisco, TX, USA
In 2014, my precious Dad was diagnosed with melanoma that had metastasized to his brain. The only treatment that was available, was a newly developed and very expensive immunotherapy drug. My family was so excited to learn of this treatment but devastated to learn of the cost. Each shot was literally hundreds of thousands of dollars. My Mom was a teacher and my Dad owned his own business so the treatment was not going to be a feasible option. We are so thankful that the nurse at the doctor’s office suggested she contact Good Days on behalf of my Dad. Good Days stepped up and thanks to them, my Dad was able to receive the first shot of the immunotherapy drug. A few weeks later we found out that the immunotherapy was working but that the whole brain radiation he had received had damaged his brain beyond repair. The outcome for my Dad wasn’t good but Good Days took so much stress and worry off of my family...they gave us hope. I can’t say enough good things about this organization.
