My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for HOPE, Duluth, GA, USA
2020 was a trying time for many families. As a single mother of a toddler daughter, I was in search of childcare and rental assistance. I fell behind and didn’t know what I would do, luckily my daycare provider was understanding with my situation but it was fast approaching a new year and she needed to close her books for years end. The pressure was real, I was new to the state and did not know where to turn. I came across Hope Inc and saw that I had the qualifications for the program and I took a chance and applied. By this time, I had been turned down by DCF for assistance 3 times, I was afraid that if this program didn’t accept me what would I do then? Well, I spoke with Tiffany for the first time and we spoke as if we were old friends, I felt comfortable releasing the stresses of my situation and she listened and reassured me that everything would be ok. My second interview with Kenita was great, it went smooth and again I felt comfortable. These women are angels and they are committed to their cause and if it were not for this organization, I would still be struggling to make ends meet, falling deeper and deeper into debt.
Hope Inc provides participants with the tools and resources to sow confidence in our goals to succeed. I love that they reinforce responsibility in their participants by creating deadlines and carrying out strict rules. I recommend this program with five stars, because it is hard to find pure hearted individuals with a purpose to help fulfill the lives of others.
