As one of the very few reviewers who actually goes to this place for help... They've been amazing.

I went through trauma that I thought I could just ignore, and hopefully everything would right itself. It did not. It got worse and worse until I was at my wits end and had a complete meltdown. I called TWC and they got me in extremely fast, despite being told that there's usually a decently long waiting list.

I've gone to one other nonprofit for this trauma before, and TWC was far more helpful to me. They have classes to help you understand what you've gone through, are going through, and will go through. Your friends and family can come with you, so they can learn as well. I've gone to regular therapists who supposedly specialize in sexual trauma, and they've always been clueless. Coming to a place where people truly understand your struggles, makes a huge difference.

My therapist has been amazing. Change is a struggle, and I'm dealing with it. I have made improvements that I'm really proud of, and I couldn't have done it without Anita. We've even managed to make it work during these crazy pandemic times. I still have a ways to go, but I absolutely would not be as far as I am, or even alive, without TWC and their wonderful staff.
