I became acquainted with the Rescue in 2010. I couldn't adopt but called to see if I could give some assistance to some dogs I saw on the website; they had some medical problems I was familiar with. 4 months later, I adopted those same 2 dogs. That was the beginning of a wonderful relationship. I became a volunteer with the organization and am still one today, 11 years later. You couldn't find a more caring, dedicated group of people- all of them volunteers. Willing to go anywhere and do anything to help the sweet little monkey faces. Over the past 11 years I have adopted again and I treasure my relationships with the people that I work with. As a volunteer I am aware of how much it costs to "rescue"-veterinarian visits, surgeries, medications... I truly enjoy my volunteer status-I'm priviliged to belong to such a wonderful group. I've included photos of those first two little angels I.adopted so long ago.
