Volunteering with Friends of the Troops has been a blessing. I enjoy this way of giving back to those who serve or have served our country. It is a simple but rewarding way to show our thanks for our military. I dont expect a thank you for what I do but it is especially heartwarming to receive cards and letters back from our veterans and servicemembers.

This opportunity to volunteer for Friends of the Troops has brought a lot of joy to my life. It has given me a passion, and it has helped me during the pandemic to find a purpose. I've enjoyed it so very much. I also love receiving letters, cards, and feedback from our military service members and veterans.
