Review for Tomten Farm And Sanctuary Of New Hampshire, Haverhill, NH, USA
I had the opportunity to visit this amazing animal sanctuary during their 10th Year Anniversary Celebration and was even more in love in this incredible organization. An all women VOLUNTEER board of directors makes the magic come true for all the residents. Horses, cows, donkeys, pigs, chickens ... all manner of farm animals that have been gifted a forever home here. I emphasize volunteer because every single penny donated goes directly to the care of the residents.
If you can possibly make a donation to help this amazing non-profit, know that 100% of your donation goes directly to the animals in their care. I can't express just how much this organization goes above and beyond. í ¾íµ°

My absolute favorite non-profit! Why? They continually go over and above to give every animal under their care the promise to live in Peace, Protection and Possibility for the rest of their days. And that's not all, they accomplish this with an amazing all women board of directors who donate their time to make sure this promise is kept. Talk about Wonder Women!

The donkey rescue a few years ago caught my attention, seeing what they do every single day for all of the lives who call Tomten home caught my heart. I haven't visited yet, but I'm hoping 2023 is the year!

The all volunteer board of directors goes above and beyond helping each animal to enjoy peace, protection and possibility. Today the temperature is below zero, yet Laima is there to ensure full bellies and warm hearts. Thank you, Laima and all of the Tomten BOD for all you do every .... single ..... day .....

I came across Tomten Farm and Sanctuary in my newsfeed last year when they were trying to do more for those lovely donkeys. My late husband and I are donkey lovers and I made a donation in his name. Then I started following them and am so in love with their mission of Peace, Protection and Possibility that I became a frequent donor to their fundraising efforts - from the original plea to help with the donkeys, to buying a quilt raffle ticket, to doing a fundraiser on Facebook for Giving Tuesday, to telling all my friends and family what an amazing organization this is, completely volunteer run and all proceeds go 100% to help the animals in their care. My best friend and I do donations for birthday and Christmas gifts and Tomten benefited from this in 2020 also - and I'm sure this will continue. Any little way I can help I am on board with this truly amazing organization!
