My experience with Paw Safe was AWFUL! I spent years waiting until it was a good time to adopt a puppy, and am glad that I did because I found Ruby, the sweetest little puppy ever. I took her home after being told she was seen by the vet that day that gave her a clean bill of health.
However the next day I brought her to my vet to establish a relationship. Upon listening to her heart we learned that Ruby had a very distinct heart murmur that could not have been missed. Upon further testing it was confirmed that Ruby’s heart is defective.
I am heartbroken, devastated, and angry. I contacted paw safe right away however they were less than helpful. I was told I could return her or adopt another puppy.
This is so unfair to these animals. I could never just return her like she was defective. I am going to do everything I possibly can to get Ruby the best care and all the love she deserves. And for how ever long her life is, it will be the best ever!
No thanks to paw safe who denies that it was possible for her to have this condition when she was with them.
