I was stationed overseas, and started taking care of a neglected animal that relied heavily on me feeding her. I formed a bond with her, and knew I needed to bring her home with me, but had no idea where to start, or if it was even possible to get an animal home. I began to google and search for avenues to possibly get her home. One name that kept coming up was Operation Baghdad Pups. I was not entirely optimistic that I would receive any help, as it was a large undertaking, and did not even know if I would qualify for the program. I submitted my application, and to my excitement, I was accepted. I could not have been more ecstatic. Lori and her team guided me through the entire process, and soon I was home with my dog "Baby". I want to thank the entire team at ASPCA, and let them know that "Baby" would very likely not be alive without their support today. I remain indebted and grateful to everyone involved with the organization. Thank you ASPCA!
