I have been in need of truck repairs for a while now and I have been walking to work almost everyday. The repairs cost more than my truck is worth. I emailed a case worker that I worked with when I got emergency aid in may. She called a few places that award vehicles to Veterans and I now have a refurbished truck with no truck payment. I can get to my medical appointments and to work. I never would have known about this type of program if she didn't help me. The staff members follow through with their promises and never give up on a vet.
