My name is Chloe Faris and I have been a volunteer at Jameson Animal Rescue Ranch since February 2020. Jameson not only rescues, feeds and cares for the animals of our region, it cares for the people too. Personally, I find Jameson Rescue Ranch a respite from the calamity and stress that I have experienced in our society lately. I go to Jameson Rescue Ranch to take care of the cats living there. It is a calm and serene place where my heart can rest. It truly feeds my soul to play with, feed, brush and snuggle with our feline ranch friends. People in our community visit the ranch to meet and eventually adopt these kitties. It is such a fulfilling process to see these precious animals go to their forever homes.

One Jameson program in particular that I recommend to everyone I know is the Senior Citizen Pet Wellness program. This program assists Seniors and their animals by providing supplies, food, care and exercise for their pets. Seniors thrive when they are able to keep their animal companions with them and Jameson makes sure that can happen. My next step in my volunteer career with Jameson is to train and help out with this valuable program.

The staff at Jameson are AMAZING! They are kind, hardworking and truly care for all animals. They are always saying, "Thank you so much Chloe for all your hard work for our kitties." I feel so fortunate. It is really 'I' who should be thanking them for providing a place where I feel so great and the animals benefit too.
