I have been volunteering at the Lord's Pantry for 3 years. It is a very rewarding experience. I love talking to the people and sometimes they just need someone to talk to. I love the interaction. And the volunteer team are wonderful - dedicated and friendly.

The Pantry provides a fantastic variety of food, household products and personal products. The people are most grateful.

Jan Leaf is an amazing person. She works tirelessly to help those in need. Lately she has worked non-stop for the flood victims of Downingtown resulting from Hurricane Ida. Many victims are now living in hotels and Jan has coordinated efforts to deliver food to the hotels. She is one of the most carding and dedicated people I've ever met.

I have been volunteering at the Lords Pantry of Downingtown since November of 2018. Hunger is right in our backyards. The Pantry not only takes great care of its clients with healthy food, fruit and vegetables but can help in many other ways too like assistance in navigating available services and aid, back-to-school supplies, special Thanksgiving dinners and Christmas giving, etc. The energy and dedication of the staff is unmatched. I've also enjoyed talking with the clients. Sometimes they just need someone to listen. The local grocery stores are also very generous with their donations. Some nights the clients leave with a fantastic variety of food and treats. This has been a very rewarding experience for me
