The Sanctuary at Maple Hill Farms is all the right things. It's so refreshing to get to meet horses that make it to their second chance! The Maple Hill folks don't just patch them up, they heal them through and through. It takes so much commitment and fortitude to do what they do, not to mention the long hours and hard labor. Working alongside them as a volunteer is such an honour and privilege when I'm available and able, and I always leave my shifts reminded: they're still working, and they'll start all over again tomorrow. This is a great group doing great things, and every dollar that comes in helps horses. I have so much respect for The Sanctuary at Maple Hill and am so thankful for all they do for horses.
