I've watched them pickup horses that have been neglected and starved. In need of medical care. They take them to the ranch for medical attention and nutrition. They put them in a stress-free environment for healing.
It is a long process to bring a horse or equine back to health. They are patient and in most cases are able to make their life a better one. To watch the horse run in the pastures with others who have been rescued is an amazing experience.

Some of the greatest stories come from Habitat for Horses. The rescues and amazing healing the horses receive is heartwarming. So much good comes from this rescue. Watching everyone work together to make it happen every single day, is amazing as well.
I love to visit and learn about the horses and donkeys. They're all loved.

I've watched Habitat for Horses, rescue, nurture and nourish abandoned, abused and neglected horses for years. It never ceases to amaze me the knowledge and energy and more than anything the love they have for what they do. Truly a blessing to our equine friends.
