Blessed Margaret of Castello Home for Crisis Pregnancies is the definition of what it means to give, assist, help, counsel, advise, support and guide without expectation. I became a resident of the home
mid-August 2019, while 10 weeks pregnant, primarily living out of my vehicle. I was referred by another organization (Marlene) with Hope Pregnancy Center, whom ensured me Blessed Margaret would provide as much support as possible to have a safe and healthy pregnancy. I contacted the organization by phone, explained my circumstances and received help almost immediately. The staff at Blessed Margaret were the driving force to my successful transition from the home. Eileen, Megan, Regina, Roz and a host of board members and volunteers provided support where necessary. I appreciate all the assistance I received through my good and bad days. Initially, all I really wanted was a hot shower and a safe place to lay my head...they provided so much more, and I will forever be grateful.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Request more organizations/businesses volunteer services such as resident transportation, and partner with rental properties to secure safe permanent housing after transition.
