I've supported this group for several decades, with my time and money and also actively working on its Board. They are professional and focused solely on the public preparatory school in New Orleans, open to any Louisiana student by audition in the fields of music (classical, jazz, vocal), visual arts, theater, culinary arts and related subjects. An amazing institution turning out grads bound for college with numerous scholarships, increasing the diversity in the arts and turning out the artistic leaders of tomorrow. Fiscally sound, totally committed to excellence plus low administrative expenses = my favorite nonprofit in all the world. I'm a supporter for life and beyond.

A professional, well-run and responsible group, and your donations will go to the very critical need for vet care for the underserved people who are homeless or at risk for it. They can't afford the care their pets need yet those pets are companions, loving friends, and mental health boosts for folks who really need them. I volunteered on October 24 at their outreach in New Orleans and enjoyed the amazing experience of helping dedicated professionals touch the hearts of more than a dozen friendly, patient, yet disadvantaged pet owners. My money and my time are well invested with SDC. I'll be there at their next outreach and hope you can join me with your support. Written by a grateful pet owner, who can gladly afford to share.
