I love Best Friends! I have been volunteering at NKLA as a dog walker and foster, and as a writer of web stories for the Best Friends website since 2019. All are rewarding efforts as I believe in the organization’s mission and pleased to contribute toward it.

I have volunteered with PASA for over two years in a variety of roles. They are a small but incredible group of dedicated people working to end the illegal wildlife trade and care for the victims caught up in it. My experience with the team has allowed me to feel connected to a global effort and the reward in directly contributing toward real and immediate impact.

I’ve had the enjoyment of volunteering for Best Friends for the past three years in multiple roles: dog walker, dog foster, web story contributor, and more. Everyone I have had the pleasure of interacting with in the org is driven by their commitment to the animals and the no-kill movement. Best Friends is a bold leader in animal welfare and making a sustainable difference in counties all across the country.

I am a recent volunteer grant writer for PASA and truly enjoying my experience working with the team. I am also doing some research on behalf of the Development Department. PASA is a small but mighty charity with dedicated and friendly professionals. I believe in and am contributing toward PASA's mission, and I am gaining experience in areas that may help me professionally. It's such a rewarding experience and I'm looking forward to continuing to help the organization make a real difference a world away from where the urgent need resides in Africa.
